Mockba (Moscow), Russia

This is one of the unlucky cards which received 'The Fold' from my 'Horrible Ex-Postman'.  It's still a great card though and although I can't read it, I think it shows interesting facts and figures relating to Moscow.  Thank you Kate in Russia!

Tsar Cannon

A marvelous card showing the Tsar Cannon which was built in 1586 and located in the Kremlin in Moscow.  It is in the Guinness book of records as the largest caliber gun.

I hate to think of the noise that thing made when it went off!

Thanks Natalia!

Poklonnaya Mountain, Moscow

I was lucky enough to be the first postcrosser that Irina from Russia drew the address of and she chose this postcard for me.  It shows the Hill of Glory which is a memorial complex dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Victory in the Second World War. It’s one of the most picturesque sites of Moscow.
