Native American - Crow Dog

'Crow Dog' - 'Sunka Kangi', Brule Sioux Chief (1832-1918)

Prominent Brule leader in tribal affairs and in the Ghost Dance Movement. 'Crow Dog' is remembered for the killing of the famed Brule chief 'Spotted Tail' in August of 1881.  Photograph by John A Anderson 1898.

Thank you Destiny in Belgium.

Wednesday

UNESCO - Brugge, Belgium

Beautiful UNESCO card from Amina in Belgium showing the Civiele Griffie which is situated on De Burg and part of the Historic center of Brugge.

Saturday

Atomium

Stascie sent me this great night view card from Brussels.  It shows the Atomium, this is used for exhibitions and has escalators running inside the tubes.  It all looks very futuristic and reminds me of the movie 'Men in Black' for some reason.

Taken from Wiki:
'The Atomium is a building in Brussels originally constructed for Expo 58, the 1958 Brussels World's Fair. Designed by the engineer André Waterkeyn and architects André and Jean Polak, it stands 102 m tall.'

Tuesday

Van Gogh House, Belgium

Jean Marie in Belgium didn't write anything on the back of this one but the publishers description says (I think) Van Gogh House.  I don't speak Belgian but I have a little French and recognise Maison. Plus, the Huis helped.  Nice card, just wish I could see the front the house.

Wednesday

Otter

Cute otter card from Melba in Belguim.  Great stamp too.

Kitten

Sterre near Antwerp picked out this adorable kitten card for me. The message says - Lieve Groetjes 'kind greetings'
