Elvis Presley, USA

Black and White Elvis Presley card sent by Grigori in America.  He tells me he is a huge Elvis fan and saw him play 3 times.  He said he was the most electrifying singer he ever saw perform.

Native American Geronimo, USA

Great black and white card of Geronimo, Chief of the Apache Indians. Sent by Ryan in USA

Thursday

Black and White, Young Girl, Salvador, Briazil

A young girl on the stairs of Carmo, Salvador, Brazil.  It comes from Leo who lives in Sao Paulo, which he tells me is the biggest city in South America.

Black and white art

No idea whos artwork this is which is a pity as I'd like to know.  Nice card from Russia.

I used to date a guy about 30 years ago who looked exactly like him, even the clothes are the same.  Spooky.

Wednesday

Black and white Sally Clark + Bear

I'm not quite sure what's going on here but I like to think they're dancing!  The publisher description says it's "Sally Clark (1883-1982) Adventurer, sculptor, cofounder of Society of Women Geographers.  "  I wonder what the bear is called...

Amazingly, despite her adventurous choice of dance partners Sally lived to be 99 years old!

Friday

Cats

Cute black and white card of fascinated kittens and a nervous goldfish from Katja in Finland.

Thursday

Kitten and books

Adorable black and white kitten card from Victoria in Turkey.  Great stamps too.

Friday

Munich

A lovely black and white shot of the Town Hall in Munich.  From Birgit in Germany.

Tuesday

Jack Nicholson

Ana in Germany sent me a card of her favourite actor, Jack Nicholson. Not a very flattering photo but he has lovely teeth!

Saturday

Cat

Very nice Black and white postcard of a cat from a Postcrosser in Switzerland.

Monday

Dog

No senders name but it was sent by a French postcrosser.  No stamp either as it had been franked by machine.  No message to mention as the back was blank.  Great black and white pooch card though!

Wednesday

Postman in 1910

From Finland a black and white bike card.  The caption on the back says "Postman Kalle Pahja in the 1910's". Is Kalle Pahja the gentleman's name? I think it is.

Quite disappointed that the postmarking machine has put some ugly printing over his face. Of all the places it could have been and typically it ends up on the most important place!
