Thursday

Multi-view, Germany

Multi-View from Ute in Stuttgart, Germany. Thank you.

Monday

San Antonio, Texas. Multiview.

A great multi-view showing San Antonio.  Another lovely card for my US State Card Collection.  Texas has been filled!  Thank you Monica who goes to school in New York for my card.

Sunday

UNESCO - Multiview of Alberobello Citta, Italy

This UNESCO Multiview shows the site 'The Trulli of Alberobello' in Italy.  I won't mark it off of my wishlist as it comes from Finland instead of Italy but it's still a nice card to have.   Thank you Paivi.

Monastic Island of Reichenau, Germany - UNESCO Multiview

When this card arrived I was looking forward to marking another site off of my UNESCO list.  It is a WHC site and it is one I don't already have, but unfortuately my own self imposed rules mean that my UNESCO cards only count if they're from the country of origin.  Sadly, this German site comes from a Swiss postcrosser but it is a wonderful multiview and I'm delighted to have it, I just can mark off that site.  Thank you for a marvelous card Simone.

Friday

Birds, New Zealand, multiiew

Marvelous bird multiview card from Lee in New Zealand. Cute little seal stamp too and one showing Maori rock art. Thanks Lee.

Thursday

Brescia, Italy, MultiView

I was hoping this Brescia, Italy card might be UNESCO but I don't think it is, sadly.  Still a nice MultiView though. Thanks Lissa.

Rotterdam, The Netherlands, MultiView

A multiview card showing scenes from Natascha's hometown of Rotterdam in the Netherlands.  The Erasmusbrug, The Euromast and some harbour scenes.

Poland MultiView

A nice multiview from Poland.  The writing is very small on the back though and I can only read the description of the first picture and the last - 1st Baltic Sea and 2nd Pickled cucumber.  No stamp to show on this one as it's a franking machine label.

Newbury, Massachusetts

Nathan sent me this wonderful card from his homwtown of Newburyport, Massachusetts.  He lives in a beautiful town.

Saturday

Town of Gottingen, Germany

Very nice MultiView showing various scenes from the town of Gottingen.  Niklas sent this to me from Germany and he tells me that if you want to get your Doctors degree from the city's old and famous university you have to kiss the bronze statue "Ganseliesel" which stands in the middle of a fountain (bottom middle pic on postcard).  I wonder how many times that gentleman has been kissed?!

Wednesday

Erding, Germany

Very nice MultiView showing various scenes from the town of Erding.  Denise sent this to me from her hometown in Germany.

Sunday

Deventer

Rachael from Deventer in The Netherlands sent this nice multiview card of her home town.

Saturday

Frondenberg an der Ruhr

Andreas in Germany tells me that Frondenberg an der Ruhr gets it's name from the Ruhr river which runs through this part of the country.  A lot of places in the area are named for the river. Collectively " Ruhrgebiet".

This town was one of the most damaged by the Dambusters in World War II when they bombed the reservoir.  The water was 2 meters high in the town.

Dortmund, Germany

Multiview of Westfalenpark, Dortmund from Sonia in Germany.

Wednesday

Deva, Romania

My first Romania card comes from Transylvania!  The obvious thing I associate with that location is Dracula but the sender Anna tells me there is also a UNESCO fortress there too.  Will have to keep my eyes peeled for that one in a swap.

This shows Deva - Judetul HUNEDOARA - Romania.
