UNESCO - St Michaels Church, Hildesheim, Germany

My UNESCO collection is getting bigger with the addition of this St Mary's Cathedral and St Michael's Church at Hildesheim card.  Sent by Katharina in Germany who tells me that it is almost 1000 years old and during the celebrations for it they put up scaffolding all around it, sadly.

UNESCO - Kizhi Pogost, Russia

What a wonderful building!  It is the Church of Transfiuration and part of the UNESCO site 'Kizhi Pogost' in Russia.  Natalia, who sent this to me, has used great stamps too which also show the wooden structures.

UNESCO - La Sainte Chapelle, Paris, France

Another UNESCO card that I almost missed.  I thought it was just a great card showing inside of La Sainte Chapelle in Paris but when I googled it I find that it's included in the site 'Paris Banks of the Seine' and there is a photo of the inside (like my postcard) on the UNESCO page.  Wonderful card sent from Chleo, it's just a shame that the post office machine made a white-scuff-of-doom right in the center.
