UNESCO - Yellowstone National Park

A buffalo and calf on this Yellowstone national park card and a great addition to my UNESCO collection.  Thanks Laurence in Ohio for sending it.

Oklahoma. USA - State Card Collection. Buffalo

A great one for my State/City Name Card Collection.

"By shooting large numbers of buffalo on the Great Plains, white hunters not only depleted the Indians primary source of food but nearly extinguished the buffalo from Oklahoma.  By 1885 millions of the animals had been killed, with just 200 left to graze the priairies."

Thanks Jason!
