Postcrossing Meetup, Krakow, Poland. 10.11.2018

 

This is a Postcrossing meetup in Krakow, Poland.  I'm going to have to do some searching to see what is involved with attending a meetup. I've received a few cards from atendee's over the years but haven't really any idea of what goes on at the meets.  

There are always several signitures on the cards and it's interesting to see all the names.  Some even have little rubber stamps made up with their names on to speed up the process.  I'm interested to see what is involved with gathering the names and how the process works.  

I'm not sure who to thank on this one as there are several names so thanks go to all who signed!

UNESCO - Historic Center of Krakow, Ploand

  A great UNESCO card for the collection.  This time it's Poland and the 'Historic Center of Krakow'.  The card shows the Royal Castle on the Wawel from the East.

Nightview - Gdansk, Poland

I love a night-view card and this beautiful one shows Gdansk in Poland.  Thanks go to Patricia for sending this and also for adding the cute baby chick stamp.

Poland MultiView

A nice multiview from Poland.  The writing is very small on the back though and I can only read the description of the first picture and the last - 1st Baltic Sea and 2nd Pickled cucumber.  No stamp to show on this one as it's a franking machine label.

I only have two of the square postcards so far and this is one of them. It comes to me from Eleanore in Losice, Poland.

That face!  So adorable.  Doesn't look too thrilled with the hat though...

I've actually received this card twice now, once from Ada in Poland and again from Monika in Poland.  Both sets of stamps shown but (obviously) the card just once.
