My very first Maxicard is a great one! Thanks go to Penny from Australia for sending me such a special card.
Before receiving this I didn't know what a Maxicard was, I thought it meant a really big one or something...yeah, I know, I haz the dumb.
Maxicards are postcards where the stamp is on the front picture side and relates to the image and the cancellation is a first day issue postmark (usually pictorial) and also matches the card and stamp. I'm loving them already and can feel a new collection coming on! I think this branch of collection is known as Maximaphily.
